Help with camera wizard setup?

I have a canon EOS 30d and since ive got it a year and a half ago, whenever i’d view and upload my photos on my computer, i’d use a regular windows folder. Now all of the sudden, i don’t even get the option to do that. Windows camera and scanner wizard automatically takes over and messes everything up. All i’m trying to do is get back so i can look at them in a regular windows folder. I tried to edit the settings in the camera wizard but to no avail. The wizard recognizes my camera so it has nothing to do with installing my driver or software again. Is there something I’m not doing right in the wizard? Can i delete my camera from the wizards memory so its forced to open in a regular folder? Any help with viewing them in a regular folder again would be appreciated.

have you tried going into my computer then clicking on the camera icon and viewing the files that way?
