is this guy mentally unwell?

i was sitting next to a guy in a college class lecture and he stared at his crotch for whatever reason, he would occasionally look up at the ceiling like hes searching for something on it, with a pen he wrote numbers on his fingers on his left hand and kept counting them from 1-5, he stared at this very pretty girl that sat diagonal-in front of him and he kept nodding at her but then got a little sad and collapsed into his hands on his desk. at one time he appeared to be reading a piece of paper in front of him but when he wasnt looking i looked over to see what it was and the paper was blank! this other time i saw him propping his head up on the desk while staring at the ceiling with a large landscape photo infront on his desk. what is with this guy? is he unwell? or just plain bored? he seems antisocial.. ive never heard his voice and ive never seen him talk to anyone.

He could be mentally unwell but, I dont mean to sound mean, what concern is it of yours even if he is? If you’re worried about him having no friends then why not try talking to him and including him in your circle of friends. He may appreciate it, and if he doesnt at least you’ll know that you tried.
